KS36 Flat Embossed

T4500

APPLICATIONS:
KS 36 Flat Embossed architectural panel system allows the architect freedom of design in an aesthetically pleasing engineered exterior wall system.

KS36 Flat Embossed panels horizontally or vertically applied use a patented double seal integrated joint. The nominal 1/8” or 3/8“ wide joint provides a distinctive reveal between panels. The optional trimless end panels are sealed with a recessed gasket at the vertical joints.

CONSTRUCTION:
KS36 Flat Embossed panels are constructed with a non-CFC thermosetting polyurethane insulation that meets US and Canadian building code requirements. Steel facings are precisely roll formed and foam insulation is expanded between the metal sheets in a state-of-the-art continuous line production sequence that is fully computerized to ensure optimum quality and consistency in every panel.

INSULATION:
KS36 Flat Embossed panels with foamed polyurethane insulation are offered in thicknesses of 2”, 2-1/2", 3” & 4"providing the highest R-value of any commonly available insulation product.

FACINGS:
KS36 Flat Embossed panels have standard 22 gauge face of stucco embossed galvanized steel to ASTM A653 G-90 or galvalume designation. The base steel is a structural quality to minimum Grade “A” 33 ksi, conforming to ASTM A924. Consult factory for optional panel facings of stainless steel in various gauges.

COATING SYSTEMS:
Standard KS36 Flat Embossed panel coating systems include “Kynar 500” PVF2 finishes with high performance properties and a 20 year manufacturers’ warranty, covering color retention, chalk resistance and film integrity. Silicone modified polyester (SMP), polyester and plastisol finish coatings also offer outstanding performance. Metallic and exotic color coatings are readily available to the designer.

PANEL DESIGN:
KS36 Flat Embossed panels utilize a superior joint design with a hidden fastener anchorage affording connection of both metal skins to the building structure, and a caulked seal provision that provides excellent air infiltration and water penetration test results. Panels are in Flat stucco embossed profile on the exterior face and Shadowline profile on the interior face.

Panel coverage is available in standard 36" width. 24"& 30" coverage is optional.
