APPLICATIONS:
In areas where stucco appearance is preferred, the option of constructing
with energy saving insulated panels was limited. Thanks to Kingspan’s
newly developed Granitstone product, you can achieve the stucco visual
effect, while still getting all the benefits associated with constructing
with Kingspan Insulated Panels.
The Kingspan KS42 Granitstone wall system is available in a wide range of
widths, thicknesses and colors. KS42 Granitstone comes pre-finished. This
allows for quick on-site installation and ensures consistent quality. Kingspan
Granitstone delivers a traditional stucco appearance, which gives increased
design possibilities.
SYSTEM BENEFITS:
- Offers design flexibility for many
applications such as Retail, Commercial,
Leisure, Health, Educational and
Residential
- Potential to meet planners objectives for
less obtrusive buildings
- Reduction in dependency on wet trades
- Cost effective
- Fast and simple installation
- High performance thermal insulation
- Suitable for new build or retrofit
- 100% performance over the life of the
building
- Contrasts or compliments the wide range of Kingspan Insulated Panels
- Simple integration with doors, windows,
glazing, louvers and traditional construction
materials
- Rapid site installation provides a weather
tight envelope allowing quicker internal
finish, earlier building completion, hand over
and accelerated income stream.
KS42 Granitstone panels are vertically or horizontally applied using a patented double interlocking seal with a nominal 1/8” (3/8” horizontal) wide joint reveal.
CONSTRUCTION:
KS42 Granitstone panels are constructed with a non-CFC thermosetting
polyurethane insulation that meets US and Canadian building code requirements.
Steel facings are precisely roll formed and foam insulation is expanded
between the metal sheets in a state-of-the-art continuous line production
sequence that is fully computerized to ensure optimum quality and consistency
in every panel.
INSULATION:
KS42 Granitstone panels with polyurethane insulation are offered in thicknesses
of 2”, 2-1/2” 3” & 4" providing the highest R-value
of any commonly available insulation product.
COATING SYSTEMS:
KS42 Granitstone is a highly resilient 100% Acrylic Polymer compound
that looks and feels like traditional stucco. Its thermoplastic and
elastomeric nature allows building movement.
KS42 Granitstone comes in different textures and standard colors. Special
colors are available upon request, with virtually no limit to selection.
Panel coverage is available in standard 36" width. 24" & 30" coverage
is optional.
