The Hershey Centre was primarily built to host major sporting events but also trade shows, concerts, festivals and more. Located in Mississauga, Ontario, the centre’s proximity to Toronto creates a highly competitive market for sporting venues. With three ice rinks, this building required a high R-value of thermal resistance to control the climate, as well as a vapor barrier. Not only does this project have climate control requirements, but the large size of the facility created a unique challenge for Kingspan.
